MARULAN ALPHA 7 AT WORK

The first brigade owned vehicles were purchased in 1987, which were two 4x4 Accos and a 6x6 Acco. Money raised to purchase these vehicles came from fund raising drives and donations. In 1996 the Brigade was issued with another Bedford, funded by the NSW Rural Fire Service. It's still in service today.

1997 saw the Brigade embarking upon an upgrade of its vehicles, which culminated in the sale of the Accos and the purchase of a late model, dual cab Isuzu truck and a late model Nissan Navara, dual cab ute. We're still looking for a late model Cat 7 or Cat 9 tanker, to complete our fleet of fire fighting vehicles.
