Well were off to a great start already, MVAs , Gas Leaks, and Now a mini cyclone- Yep that's what they called it.. Every tree for a 3 Kilometer stretch along Brayton Road and 5 Kilometers along the Bullpit road knocked to the ground, Crews were called out at 9pm on Saturday 12th January after 90mm of rain and Hail and wind hit the area known as Brayton near Marulan, with some damage to a few Homesteads in its path. Crews opened up the road fairly quickly , whilst waiting on SES crews to arrive as well as local Council and Country Energy. Crews where back on the ground this morning helping residents clear fallen trees around their homes. A job well done by all............ Marulan Rural Fire Brigade will be holding their Open Day on Saturday 20th September 2008, For those wishing to participate in any training must have their training Nomination forms in very soon otherwise you will miss out.
